   KYA YEHI PYAAR HAI is directed by K.Murlimohan Rao, the theme is adapted from a Tamil film. Starcast of the films are Jackie Shroff as the elder brother, Aftab Shivdasani, Amisha Patel, Ashish Vidhyarthi and Neena Kulkarni.
   
   Rahul is madly in love with Sandhya since past four years, but Sandhya is totally dedicated to her studies. Rachna (Neena Kulkarni) always encourages her daughter to be an independent woman as she is had a bad time cracking a solid nut... her husband, Inspector Raj Patil (Ashish Vidyarthi) who is an alcoholic. Sandhya is thus looking forward to her career and is unaware of Rahul's love.
   
   Although Dr. Tiwari as elder brother (who has pampered Rahul a lot) tries hard to convince Rahul and show him the difference between fact of love and life but Rahul doesn't care enough as he is totally obsessed by Sandhya, Sandhya and Sandhya only.
   
   Dr.Tiwari frees Rahul from the jail and goes to meet Inspector Raj Patil to ask for Sandhya's hand in marriage, but he is refused.
   
   Due to some circumstances Rahul who loves this women so much is not able to attend the funeral of his brother who meets with the accident.
   
   Finally, Sandhya realises that Rahul loves her like crazy and accepts her love but this time Rahul refuses to love her back. 'Kahani me twist'. Now Rahul wants to concentrate on his career, as his big brother wanted.
   
   Performances of Aftab and Amisha are bad. Amisha is actually in show business and shown her flesh like never before. Songs can be called as fillers as they hardly have any business. Credit may go to unique ending.
