after windows startup the screen goes blank and displays oversize

i have a L2ES-DA monitor every thing works perfectly until after windows start up the windows xp shows perfectly then the screen goes black and the words oversize in red stays on the screen with lines on the bottom simular to the lines when the computer is being fragmented
