    hi there,

    **It's called sleep apnea.**

    Try different sleeping position. I used to wake up with chest pains and difficulty to breath, thou not as extreme as yours, it went away as soon as I changed my sleeping position.

                                     **or**
    could be lack of excercise

    too much fat intake at night

    metabolic rate low

    go see a doctor...........
