It's a flimsy and dull job when it comes to peeling vegetables and every time you think of mashed potatoes or potato salad, you end up nursing a sore finger and a grudge while getting the potatoes peeled, following are details of some type of peelers that will help you save time peeling.

    SWIVEL PEELERS

One of the best peelers you could get in the market now is The OXO Good Grips i-Series Swivel Peeler it is about $12.00 but saves you loads of time. This peeler is big and clunky-looking, but its sharp-but-not-scary blade hits a vegetable at the perfect angle, removing just the skin without taking any flesh with it. No matter whatver model you choose, OXO's are reliably comfortable and the grippy handle helps alot.

The Rosle Swivel Peeler which costs around $25.00 is the Rolls Royce of this category. Beautifully crafted from satin-finish stainless steel, it comes in universal, left-handed, or right-handed versions.

    Y-SHAPED PEELERS

You could get the OXO's i-Series model for around $11.00 but you can also go for a cheaper choice of Kuhn Rikon Original Swiss Peeler costing around $3.50 is available in various colors makes you save time and makes the job easy.
