My boat does not start.  No power to solenoid. I tried myself to fix the problem but fail to do so. Please help me in that regard.

    if you have twelve volts at the battery id check the fuse off the positive or your ground

    LEFT PLUG IN BOAT.  IT FILLED WITH WATER AND NOW HAVING PROBLEM WITH POWER TRIM.  IT WENT ALL THE WAY UP ON ITS OWN WHEN FILLED WITH WATER.  IS THIS BECAUSE OF AN ELECTRIC SHORT?  WHAT IS SOLUTION?

    Hello... My boat was not turning off with the key.  We were having to disconnect the fuel to have it run out.  I was told I needed to replace the ignition switch.  I swapped out my ignition switch.  That didn't work.  I saw the second switch that was a kill switch.  I cut that switch out and tried to hard wire.  After that, the boat never started again.  I tried to re-wire that switch back in.  And still nothing... Man am I lost.. HELP

    I need to replace the water pump on my 1994 Suzuki 25 hp.  I'm wondering how to get to the water pump?  I took out the 6 bolts at the lower end of the shaft.  What else do I do to get the lower end off?

     yeah get a wiring schematic of your boat and go round cleaning all the earths and any other wiring points you can get too.

    i have a 1971 johnson 100hp outboard with electric shift and i cant find a prop anyone know a site? its 13 sline exhaust thru prop pn it now

    Please check wire attached to the top terminal on the starter relay. If there is no current in the wire then there must be problem in battery or terminals. This could be the result of bad wire also. You should remove the small wire on the solenoid and check the wire for battery voltage. The starter must not be working properly if there is no voltage. Replace the wire if there is fluctuation in the current or no current. Another reason could be the fuse in the fuse box. You should check the relay. If there is no current in the fuse and the relay then problem might be in fuse box. If there is power, have the helper hold the key in the start position once again and check for power at another terminal from the ignition key. If there is power, the relay is bad. If there is no power, the starter circuit is out of order.

    Another reason could be the neutral safety switch. The power issue could be found there. You can use the voltmeter to check for power with the key in start. If there is no current going in, then the security system or ignition switch needs to fix. Another problem could be wires leading to ignition switch. The ignition switch is working improperly if there is no current.

    my boat runs great starts on first crank.  After I run for a while and kill the motor I cant start it up for 15/20 it just turn over.  When it does crank up it does on first key turn.  No alarms go off no stutering nothing motor runs great.

    Hello Everyone. I am Johnwilliam from New York and I am here to solve my problems.
