bottom blower is not working
Tags: blower, bottom
The bottom blower circulates the heated air and removes the moist air through the exhaust. You can replace the blower and have your machinery working properly again. Use a screwdriver to release the thumbscrews at the front of the server. Be sure that the dryer is disconnected from the wall outlet before serving the dryer. The blower fan can be replaced in just a couple of hours. Press in the blade to disengage the clips and lift up on the top panel. Lift the dryer up slightly with the assistance of a helper so that you can place a black of wood under the front of the dryer. Remove the two screws that attach the front panel to the sides. Remove the single s***w with a screwdriver at the bottom blower housing. Remove the blower intake from the housing by loosening the two screws with a screwdriver. Set the new blower housing in the dryer and raise the front of the motor with the screwdriver to position the bottom edge of the housing under the motor. Reattach the holding nut and position the blower assembly over the holding tabs and press in. Reconnect the two belt switch wires and the wiring harness to the motor. Place the belt around the drum and position the drum back into the boot in the rear of the dryer.
