compaq wf 1907 lcd monitor problem, monitor shows no input signal after starting windows

monitor is connected with laptop. after starting enter password and then windows displaying desktop menu for a second, and then moniotr goes black and a message "no input signal'. displays are normal in the laptop monitor.

    plug in the cables properly and change the socket if it still not works take it to the manufactures shop (shop dealer) and replace the wires.
