    there is no one time set up for directv cinema it is free for everyone. if an installer didnt already install the cinema connection kit, it is really easy. It requires a dvr or an hddvr, and all you do is take an ethernet cord from your router or modem and plug it into directv cinema, and your all ready to go!

    
    

     

    
    

    By the way if someone tells you there is an upfront charge, or a processing fee on your directv cinema, this is not true. directv cinema has always been free. Processing fee's are just extra money the sales consultant will try to get out of you. The only upfront one time payments are for the 19.99 shipping and handling fee, and additional reciever upgrades.
