Non-weight bearing foot and leg exercising apparatus

A device for exercising at least one structure associated with a foot has a first member positionable under the toes of a foot, and an attachment member connectable to the patient above the foot. The attachment member is operably connected to the first member by a first line connected to the attachment member and the first member. The device also includes a spacer connected to the first member and the attachment member. The spacer is for retaining the attachment member in position relative to the first member. Pulling the first line applies pressure to the toes and stretches the structure.

Non-weight-bearing evaluation and you must do it right to make sure it is affective. there are many ways to do it but the most popular says, assessment of the foot and lower limb should be undertaken with the patient laying on a flat couch. the key things to watch are:
    1. Assessement of Joints, knee, ankle, toes etc.
range of motion, is it normal, more than what it should be or is it less
direction of the motion, is it normal, more than what it should be or is it less
quality of motion, does it hurt or is it normal
is there a difference between right or left foot

    2. Position abnormalities
    Fixed joint deformity
    rear foot-sub-talar postion
    forefoot relationship with rear foot

    3. Foot morphology
    Cavoid foot
    pes planus foot
    rectus foot
    splay foot
    etc
