Question:

help with huge out door yucca

my friend has a yucca plant in the garden,its huge with 6 off shoots or should i say trunks,its taking over,but we dont want to kill it off,its amazing how its grown so well,can we or do we cut some of it down?we really love it,so can any one help,x
