    Hi,
HM Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and her Commonwealth Realms has been an important figure of the world for over fifty years, and a letter would be a great way of showing your respect to her whether you live in the United Kingdom or in any other country.
       Steps
       1. Use a clean sheet of paper, good quality paper preferably.
       2. Make your penmanship your best, so good quality pens should be used for the letter eg. Parker not the cheap Biro pens.
       3. Write your letter to Her Majesty, using her proper title. Usually, the salutation should be "Your Majesty," or"Ma'am" or very formally "May it please Your Majesty"
       4. In the letter don't use you or your instead use "Your Majesty" or "Your Majesty's"
       5. End the letter with "I have the honour to be, Madam, Your Majesty's humble and obedient servant" (or if you prefer "subject")
       6. Then decide what to write. Is it something along the lines of fan mail, or just to let Her Majesty know that your country is interested in her.
       7. Then sign your name and address, as you may receive reply letter.
       8. Fold the letter into three equal sections and place into a clean envelope.

    Tips

        * Make sure your writing is exquisite; otherwise, it is a good idea  type it.
        * If possible, type your letter using 12pt text if you are typing it.
        * Make sure the envelope and paper match in colour
        * If typing the letter you must still hand sign it
    Warnings

        * Remember the Queen gets a lot a mail each day and don't be positive that she will get through to it. However she values all those who send to her as she acknowledges that you have spend your time and effort to produce a letter for her.
        * Do not expect a reply from Her Majesty, if you are lucky enough to receive a reply it will be signed by the lady in waiting or the lady in writing who are the queens official writers

    Hope it helps
