how can you fix a bent printwheel?

   Hi,
   Power up the machine, the "V" groove of the hammer should be center aligned with the "." petal If not
   1 remove the ribbon bracket
   2 loosen s***w of the daisy wheel (element) motor it has locktite on it , slide the motor up or down in its slot until the hammer and petal are aligned. If you cannot correct it this waydue to a lack of travel it becomes a more complicated job may need a typewriter repair man.
