I have a memorex tv

    I had the same message and ended up calling my digital converter company (digital stream).  It ended up needed to have the Factory Reset function run.  Using the menu on the digital converter you select Factory Reset and follow the prompts. My process had a pin that was required so you may need to contact your digital converter co.
