how do you fix a soap genie that won't stop?

    I turned it off, took a Q-Tip, dampened with HOT water, and ran it around the sensor's eye(s) multiple times. It worked! Note: I wasn't sure if the sensor was at bottom of base or up near the nozzle under spout, so I did both.
