how do you heal a scraped finger?

I scraped my finger bad and it hurts severely I put bandages on it cool water but the pain won't go away. how can I heal my finger or at least stop the severe pain.

    Hi,
    Put a little triple antibiotic ointment on it and let it stay exposed. It will toughen up faster and you will have forgotten about in a day or 2.
