    I am about to do this myself.  The replacement (second hand) fan arrived today.  I will fit it a the weekend.  I have a Haynes manual and its covered there (Try your local library). It doesn't look too difficult.  Its located behind the glove box in the passenger footwell.  You need to remove the box to get at it.
