   Jon Stewart was born Jonathan Stuart Leibowitz; on November 28, 1962. He is an American political satirist, author, TV host, player, newspapers detractor and standup comedian. He is broadly renowned as host of The Daily Show, a satirical report program that airs on Comedy Central. Stewart begun as a stand-up comedian, but he branched into TV as owner of Short Attention Span Theater for Comedy Central. He went on to owner his own display on MTV, called The Jon Stewart Show, and then hosted another display on MTV called You Wrote It, You Watch It.
   
   He has furthermore had some movie functions as an actor. Stewart became the owner of The Daily Show on Comedy Central in early 1999. He is furthermore an author and co executive producer of the show. The Daily Show, renowned in its present incarnation as The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, is an American late evening satirical TV program airing each Monday through Thursday on Comedy Central. The half-hour long display premiered on July 21, 1996, and was hosted by Craig Kilborn until December 1998.
