how master budget is differ from cash budget
Tags: BUDGET, Cash, Master
If you run your own business or work within an organization that has revenue streams and costs both a master budget and cash budget are valuable tools to employ. The difference between the two centres around the nature and purpose of both budgets. Cash budgets are concerned with and deal exclusively with the cash flowing into and out of the company. The master budget on the other hand accounts for all types of accounts and expenses that have both occured and are planned to occur over the course of a fiscal year and beyond (up to 3-5 years is not uncommon). Such expenses include things like upcoming salary totals, leasehold improvements as well as estimates of raw materials required moving forward.
