    It's actually very simple. The upper 2/3rds of your TV is a near empty cavity. All the electronics are in the lower third, behind the speaker covers. There are 4 bolts you can take out and remove the top 2/3rds from the bottom. You should see the twist things on the sides of the TV. Sorry, don't know what they're called.

    When you take the top off, the lenses of your picture tubes will be exposed. Be sure to protect them before transporting.
