how to fix the chart key on northstart 6000i

chart key button is not responding when pressed.  as a result, can not operate northstar 6000i, since you must press chart key after turning on.  has anyone had this problem or know how to fix

    im having the same issue with mine. I noticed it does it when engines are on only. Try with engines off for some strage reason mine would work. Not sure how to fix it besides sending it in to Navico
