i Have HP Pavilion 6670ee, I need to disable SATA mode

There is no option is BIOS can anyone help me out ?

    why dont you try the HP Help center

    try it upgrade you BIOS and it will then have the SATA option

    also you need to have SATA driver for XP if you need to downgrade the laptop

    and one tip dont let the HP help know that you are downgrading .... they dont support downgrades

    try replacing the hd

    Disable the "Native SATA" mode in BIOS. Once you install Windows XP, download and install the drivers from HP website and enable SATA mode.
