i can't get the disk out, i tried to connect laptop and got message to change modes

   You can manage it manually. There should be a little hole for a manual eject next to the "Eject" button on the disc drive. Insert the paper clip into the hole and impel solidly until the locking latch releases and the propel platter begins to eject.
