It is believed to be the busiest shopping day of the year since the year 2005, although news reports, which at that time were inaccurate, have described it as the busiest shopping day of the year for a much longer period of time. The day is actually famous for certain exclusive deals that are being offered. Most the Black Friday deals are available to purchase online by 2:00am EST on Thanksgiving Day.
