   There is a window period for HIV to manifest and pass on to the symptomatic stage and it generally lasts for about six months after the virus has entered the body and is not constant to all and depends on the person's immune system and resistance of the body. In your case, the test results may not have diagnosed correctly or the virus may be in the latent or window period for longer time. It will be better if you can conform with the results again.
