    Hello

Not quite sure about import duties for boats into Panama.  Seen many foreign registered boats that linger here for a very long time and my guess is no duty was paid on them since they seem to be owned by non-residents.  I'm guessing that import duties for boats can be similar to that of cars which is about 20%. However, there are exemptions in case you or the owner happens to be a retiree.
Most people who own boats in Panama, usually buy them in the U.S., but there's a dealer here that represents Wellcraft, SeaRay and others

    hope it helps
