it wants to spin and will, but at a specific point it stops

    If it's a Ice blender, the ice is probably getting caught up in the blades and freezing. A regular blender could do the same, without the exception of freezing of course. If it's a Ice blender then add more water or liquid depending, and that should help loosen it up, same with the normal food, add something to loosen up the blend. I hope I helped. Good Luck!
