    According to Billboard.com, the most popular digitally downloaded song of the year this far appears to be I Knew You Were Trouble by unstoppable force Taylor Swift. Luckily for fans of hip-hop, Thrift Shop, the addictive anthem from the incredibly creative and talented duo of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis seems to be quickly gaining. 

   
   

   Other mainstays near the top for the year include Bruno Mars and his song Locked Out of Heaven as well as everyone's favourite Korean song, Gangnam Style by Psy.
