no sound from the soundstick speakers

   no sound from the soundstick speakers
   and no light is on in the soundsticks
   
   the subwoofer light is on
   the volume on the right soundstick speaker is UP
   the volume on the subwoofer is ON
   i have checked the computer and the volume is ON and the sound is fine

   my soundsticks II does'not have anny sound but the subwoofer is on
