Question:

problems with peavey gps 3500

when a signal is placed on channel A or even if there is no signal at all and the volume is being turned up,the relay just clicks off shutting down the channel after a second,bearing in mind that there is no load on the channel.

    The problem sounds the same as mine. I would mess with the volume k**b and it would kick off with no load. I had to replace the pots because the old ones were not making good contact. Try pulling out on the k**b a little. Probably will do the same as turning up.
