Question:

sanyo tv pdp-42xr9da store channels then it keeps losing ABC

Tv brought for christmas,tunned channels everything ok for 2 weeks then it lost all ABC channels, so i tunned again now it has happened again.Have 2 other tvs in the house and they are fine...any answers to this

     I had the same problem on my 42XR9DA, which seems to be because the Country was changed to Croatia. The user guide says that Country is locked and can't be changed.


    So I found a service manual, and reset it to the default using the code Source + 2 + 5 + 8 + 0. This entered the Service Menu,  where I selected Reset All. The TV flipped off then back on, and I entered some different choices in the initialisation. One of the questions allowed me to change the country to my country, not Croatia. Then I selected auto scan for the channels. 


    Thus I was able to get ABC again.
