I am distraught I love her totally and then she hits me with this, what do I do.She wont take my calls but reads my e-mails but wont respond

    You spend awhole 5 years with her, and you asked her now. All in all, may be she needs some change. Talk your heart to her, make it open.

    get out. you'll at least have your dignity and she'll respect you for that. just do it nicely.  women are funny and if she is in doubt, its over and she's just laying in concrete plans to make that true. she obviously could care less about your feelings. i'd just tell her its over and send her an email that your moving on because of the refusal on her part to communicate with you. and NEVER contact her again. be a gentleman about it and keep your respect.
