   First and foremost congrats on your daughter if she has been born or if she is on the way. If you are just asking for future planning, bravo to you for planning ahead. I don't think anything is wrong with the name Buffy. The real question is how you feel about the name. If you have a real sentimental and personal reason for wanting to name your future princess that, go ahead and do it. I mean heck, people are out their naming their kids Jadaveonisha and Apple, at least Buffy has a ring to it.

   
   

   It also was the name of a powerful and beautiful woman who served the greater good by protecting it from Vampires. I think its an awesome name, don't you?
