"no disc" appears when trying to play a dvd in my tv/dvd combo television

    is this a regular DVD or is it burnt. Pretty much i need to know if this is of any other type of format DVD then what you would purchase from the store. (3rd party or bootleg or homemade). if it is a regular dvd, then i would say that the driver installed on your tv is no longer associated with that dvd player, or you need to find something to clean the lens (dvd/cd cleaner) or it's broke. good luck to yah.
