what are different types of eye allergies?

I am suffering from eye allergy as I have been wearing glasses since I was seven and now I am eleven. So I want to change my look and wear contacts. Can anyone tell me about types of eye allergies so I can treat according?

    Allergic conjunctivitis is divided into several subtypes depending on the nature of the allergen.
