what are the easiest ways to track social networks in Google Analytics?

I am currently trying to develop social media campaigns, and in order to best help clients, I want to be able to accurately track and report Social Media sites.

    To achieve this level of reporting in Google Analytics and to basically tweak Google Analytics to create this traffic medium, you've got these two options:
    1. Create a standalone Google Analytics social networks traffic profile
    2. Use advanced segment in Google Analytics
