    When an automobile is classified as hybrid in nature, it means that it is run using two distinct power sources. The most common example are small, mid-size and SUV vehicles that feature a combination system with an internal combustion gasoline engine and a rechargeable electric motor.

   
   

   Hybrid style engines are not just reserved for automobiles and personal vehicles as larger things like trains, buses, ships and aircrafts are also experimenting with or using the technology effectively. Such efforts are being made due to the ever increasing price of gasoline and diesel as well as improving technologies related to renewable energy for driving.
