    Every time you walk through the fountain it resets all the little red men.  Once you get the little red men on the correct letters (ARO) do not go through the fountain.

    for the second part i tried 2010 at the top with 1918 at the botton - didnt work
    i tried 209 at top and 1918 at bottom - didnt work
    i switched top and bottom for both of those - didnt work

    anyone know?!

    The moons - look up 1918 (in CHICAGO - the time zone matters) and see when the new moons were for each month. It's January-June on top row left-to-right and then July-December on the bottom row.

    Ok, so, you just have to look at the 1918 calendar, and follow it according to the Chicago, Illinois time, the time difference is pivotal. And yes, someone obviously already one the frikkin contest, but hey, it's fun to solve something like this =]

    It's the month of April - it's GMT time so you have to convert to EST time which is actually April 10 not April 11

    The New Moon calendar is the New Moons for January thru December of 1918 (Chicago time)

    Jan: Sat the 12th (2nd row, last box)
    Feb: Mon the 11th (3rd row, 2nd box)
    Mar: Tues the 12th (3rd row, 3rd box)
    April: Wed the 10th (2nd row, 4th box)
    May: Fri the 10th (2nd row, 6th box)
    June: Sat the 8th (2nd row, last box)
    July: Mon the 8th (2nd row, 2nd box)
    Aug: Tues the 6th (2nd row, 3rd box)
    Sept: Thrs the 5th (1st row, 5th box)
    Oct: Fri the 4th (1st row, 6th box)
    Nov: Sun the 3rd (2nd row, 1st box)
    Dec: Tues the 3rd (1st row, 3rd box)

    Yup. Am close to giving up on this. It's stupid that you are asked to log in AFTER you have already logged in, then get stuck when you do re-log in. If this webiste they have set up for this competition can't function properly then it doesn't give me much faith in their cars!

    I'm going to make sure I NEVER buy a Volvo after wasting my time on this competition. Anybody else feel like this??

    Well I just finished it and, its the NEW MOONS of 1918, not the full moons (don't get them confused) and when you finish it tells you they will email the winner when he or she is determined. Good luck everyone!

    You have to go and find the farmers almanac for Chicago in 1918. Then you have to look for the days in which there was a new moon for.  The boxes on the page stand for a month.  The top line of boxes are months Jan-June and the bottom boxes are July-Dec. Place them according to the days in a month. That will let you complete the contest

    whomever out there still needs help on the calendar here it is: in January the first starts on Tuesday but the date for the calendar that u need to put the moon on is Saturday the 12th, for February the first starts on Friday but the date to put  your moon on will be on Monday the 11th, March starts on Friday the first and the moon goes on Tuesday the 12th, for April the first is on Monday the moon goes on Wednesday the 10th, May 1st starts on Wednesday and the moon goes on Friday the 10th, June 1st is on Saturday the moon goes on Saturday the 8th, July 1st is on Monday the moon goes on the 8th of Monday too, August the 1st is on Thursday and the moon goes on the 6th which is Tuesday, September the first is on Sunday the moon goes on Thursday the 5th, October the first is on Tuesday the moon goes on Friday the 4th, November the first is on Friday the moon goes on Sunday the 3rd, and finally December starts on Sunday the first and the moon goes on Wednesday the 3rd good luck hope this helps!

    Have you guys read the rules? It could take awhile to find A  winner! You can't have ever been convicted of a felony, no DUI's in the last 10 years, and have a valid license and insurance-easy for me, but maybe the winner will find out they dn't qualify!
