what is eid al Adha?

I know about Muslims Eid but I don't know what Eid al Adha is. I am in Jeddah but I don't want to ask anyone here, someone please tell me about Eid al Adha.

    Eid al-Adha is celebrated by the Muslim community which bases comes from Sura 2 (Al-Baqara) ayah 196 in the Qur'an. It begins with a short prayer followed by a khuṭbah. Eid al-Adha is celebrated annually on the 10th day of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah according to Islamic calendar.
