Question:

whats more useful patience or perseverance?

i understand that to succeed you need to be persistent. but whats more required for success persistence or patience........because some people are persistent but not patient enough and others are patient but not persistent enough. what's more useful?

    i'd rather be persistent.....its good to have patience but not many of us has that much of it.....we can't bear to much ......as for persistence, well not many of us have that either, but at least it feels like your doing more if your persistent than if your just patient....good things come to those who wait, but only the left over things from those that hustle....at least thats what abraham lincoln believed.

    I don't think that one should out shine the other, but if i had to choose i think i would go with perseverance.  You don't want to be too patient, you want to have the drive to go for more.  You'll find that all the greats who made something of themselves persevered through the toughest of obstacles only to come out on top.  But to do what they did they had to have the patience for what they did to be accepted by others
