I like thanksgiving day very much and I have to write some notes about it. Please someone tell me when thanksgiving day became a national holiday.

    In 1863 Abraham Lincoln declared the last thursday of November, as the national holiday to celebrate thanksgiving. On that day the Americans started to celebrate Thanksgiving collectively as on a national level.
