    Hi,
    If you exercise too much too soon after eating you'll get indigestion. The exercise produces a need in your body for food and you might therefore want to take something afterwards.

    Remember that sugary foods and drinks give you energy very quickly and can be best for replacing a deficit after exercise, but that the body quickly uses them up and needs more protein-rich foods and complex carbohydrates like pasta, which are better in the longer term.
