will skating goofy affect my surfing because i surf regular?

   Hi,
   Just surf goofy footed, I have a similar situation. I surf, snowboard, wakeboard ect. all goofy footed but when I skateboard, I do it regular footed, go figure right. But it doesnt really have any affect on anything and really is better for me when I snowboard or wakeboard and land switch. Much more comfortable because of that. Take advantage of this, get good going goofy footed then if you want to try going regular try it. Going frontside down every wave, that wouldnt be too bad!
   
   Ohh and btw, skateboarding is nothing like surfing! No matter what people say, it doesnt resemble surfing at all, no matter what kind of skateboard you are riding, there is nothing that will help you get better at surfing other than surfing, to an extent. Now if your good at both and can boost a pretty big air in the water and on the halfpipe, then there might be some resemblance but probably not!
