If windows 7 boot manager is missing then you need to follow the procedure given below to fix it. I hope this will be very helpful for you.

    1. First of all you have to insert the Windows Vista installation disc in the disc drive, and then restart the computer.

    2. Push a key when you are prompted.

    3. Choose a language from the list, a currency, a time,  and a keyboard or another input method, and then press Next button.

    4. Now press Repair your computer.

    5. Go to the operating system if you want to fix the problem, and then click Next.

    6. Press Command Prompt in the System Recovery Options dialog box.

    7. Here you need to type Bootrec /RebuildBcd , and then click ENTER button.

    • If the Bootrec.exe tool works correctly, it gives you with an installation path of a Windows directory. You will require to add the entry to the BCD store, then type Yes. A confirmation message will appear that shows the entry is added successfully.

    • If the Bootrec.exe tool is unable to find any missing Windows installations, then you will have to remove the BCD store, further you will create it again. For that, you will type the commands given below in the order in which they are presented. You will click ENTER after inserting each command.

    Bcdedit /export C:\BCD_Backup

    ren c:\boot\bcd bcd.old

    Bootrec /rebuildbcd

    8. Now you will restart your personal computer.
