I have a 1995 6.5 Have installed a relay to run the lift pump. I also installed a switch so I can run the lift pump manually. The lift pump is working find. At 30,000 miles I had changed 2 PMD's the 3rd one at about 38,000 I relocated it in the air cleaner box forward of the air cleaner. I now have 120,000 miles on the truck. It is now stalling again after going about 1 mile when I first start it up in the morning [cold eng.]. Just shuts off will not start back up until I cut the ignition switch on and off about 4 times. It will then start and run for about 2 or 3 minutes. If I keep doing this until the engine gets warm it will not shut off any more. My question is what is cutting the ignition switch on and off doing and why will it keep running after its warm. I though cutting the switch on and off was running the lift pump for a short time allowing the engine to crank but that's not the case because with the pump running all the time it still shuts off. Help
