    Hi,
    The data link connector has a tendency to pop out of the lower dash panel.If you remove the panel you should see the data link conector.As far as the no start If it ran before it is most likely something that is being over looked and scanning for data is a good first step.

    try the basics first then come back with your findings.


    Check for fuel.


    Check for spark.


    Check for compression.


    There are plenty of guides online that can walk you through this.


    Check the basics before anything else so you don't waste time and money on something that is probably simple. Subaru no-starts are usually something really simple and rarely expensive.
