Beyond just good looks and fuel efficiency, the Chevrolet Impala uses its aerodynamic styling. In order to maximize interior space while preserving traditional large-sedan styling cues allows Impala to satisfy admiring bystanders as well as it does drivers. With lustrous lines and delicate details, Impala is designed to stand out in a crowd. The 2011 Chevrolet Impala is mostly unchanged. This is the larger of Chevrolet's two midsize sedans, and it has the capacity to seat up to 6 passengers. Impala reprises LS, LT, and LTZ trims. New for 2011 is the FL trim level, which is reserved only for fleet buyers. LS and LT models have a 211-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine. LTZ Impalas have a 230-horsepower 3.9-liter V6. The engines in Impala are E85 (9) Flex Fuel-capable, unlike the engines in any Honda or Toyota car. Both engines are capable of running on E85 ethanol-blended fuel.  E85 is a cleaner-burning, mostly renewable fuel source made mainly from U.S.-grown biomaterial, which can help reducing reliance on petroleum. A 4-speed automatic is the sole transmission. The safety features available presently include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, front-side airbags, and curtain-side airbags. Leather upholstery is standard on the LTZ and possible on the LT. Heated front seats are standard on the LTZ and newly voluntary on the LT.
