   If you wish to proceed through to the Departure Lounge at Hobart Airport you will be required to undergo security screening (whether you are travelling or not). The security screening process checks for items that are not permitted to be taken on to the aircraft – all hand luggage will be screened, as well as you.
   If you have any questions about items that you can or cannot take on the aircraft, please ask at check-in to prevent delays in proceeding through security. Some items are permitted to be carried in the hold of the aircraft, but not in hand luggage.
   If you do not wish to proceed through security screening, you are able to wait in the arrivals area or check-in hall where there are options to purchase food and beverage or sit.
