Did wikileaks attempt to harm Pakistan?

Wikileaks published many secret documents related to Pakistan and its foreign polices as well as about the internal politics going on in the country. I read an article in which the Defense Committee of Cabinet termed the release of WikiLeaks diplomatic cables an attempt to harm the image of the country. This article states that, The committee, which met at the PM House with Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani in chair, renewed the government’s resolve to eliminate terrorism and effectively foil “the nefarious designs of the enemies of Pakistan”. The DCC affirmed the government’s and the public’s commitment to defend the country’s honor, dignity, sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity. The committee reviewed the security challenges faced by Pakistan and expressed satisfaction on the defense preparedness. What I have read about this issue is this. If someone know more details you can make an argument here. I want to know the details of this news.

    How can wikileaks harm individuals or any country? According to the latest news, wikileaks is aimed at publishing documents about leaders of the world and different countries. It would also include internal conspiracies between the countries and those facts, which have been hidden from common eye so far. As far as i know about wikileaks it can be a propaganda of US govt to destroy the countries of middle eastern region by creating disputes among them. Right now, no one can say anything about it, whether wikileaks is trying to harm some country or letting its people know the facts about their leaders and their relations with US. Moreover, with respect to Pakistan, wikileaks has done a great job so far by revealing the facts about irresponsible leaders of the said country. They truly deserve to be exposed in front of the nations carrying their real faces.
