Do I need a mobile website for Adsense for mobile content?

I have Adsense account but I don’t have a mobil website. I need to know if it is prequsite for me to make one

    you must have a mobile-compliant webpage in order to use AdSense for mobile content. Adding AdSense for mobile ad code to a standard webpage will not display mobile ads.You'll also need to make sure the layout of your website is properly formatted to display on mobile phones.
