Do I need to reconfirm my Cathay Pacific ticket if booked online?

I want to know that when I book my Cathay Pacific flight ticket online then I have to reconfirm it from Cathay Pacific office.

    There is no need to reconfirm your flight when you fly with Cathay Pacific as well as Cathay Pacific code sharing partners. However, if you are unable to show up for your flight, please call Cathay Pacific reservations office and notify Cathay Pacific in advance. If not, your onward booking(s) will be cancelled.
